Grimes

Claire Elise Boucher (/bu:'SeI/ boo-SHAY born March 17 in 1988) also known as Grimes is a Canadian musician and singer/songwriter recording producer, and singer. Initial work was described as "lo-fi R&B to futuristic dance-pop",[4] with influences from hip-hop, electronic and rock. She frequently incorporates science fiction and feminist themes in her lyrics. Five studio albums were published by the singer. Grimes came from Vancouver but later relocated to Montreal. She started her solo career in the late 2000s. In 2010, she dropped two albums on Arbutus Records, Geidi Primes (and Halfaxa), respectively. In 2012, Visions was her third studio album. The band was signed to 4AD. Visions is comprised of the singles "Genesis," and "Oblivion". It was also the recipient of the Juno Award of the Canadian Music Industry for Electronic Album of the Years. The fourth album of her studio Art Angels was released in the year 2015. It received high praise from the press and critics, while many publications voted it the best album of the year. In 2020, she dropped Miss Anthropocene (her fifth studio album). Aside from the music industry, Grimes had a voice role in the 2020 gaming action Cyberpunk 2077 and is a judge on the competition for musicians game series Alter Ego. Grimes Grimes Grimes
